In 1985, orthopaedics master shoemaker Dietmar Walter established his own company, Orthopedie Walter, in Oberkochen - committed to combining medical and scientific requirements with craftman's skills and founded on the irrevocable principle of honouring the craft while going along with progress.
Based on years of experience and a crew of employed engineers and technicians, Dietmar Walter developed new foot measuring and arch support production technologies. Innovative 3D measuring and manufacturing methods are applied to make customised arch supports and shoes which are also warmly welcomed by renowned clinics and sports academies.
