Sports therapy regards itself as being a kinesitherapeutic method aiming at restoring disabled physical, psychological and social functions and preventing secondary damage. The RKU's sports therapy department deploys activating and group dynamic strategies based on scientific training and medicine. In conjunction with paedagogic, psychological and sociotherapeutic methods, the strategies motivate patients to see sports as a long-term commitment.
